The Cat Whisperer

We have had an up and down week when it comes to our pets. Like I said in an earlier post, Maggie called my bluff when I told her she could get a kitten if she would use the bathroom in the "potty!" Well, she did it and she got Cinderella. Unfortunately for us all, Cinderella had FIP. That is a not a good disease for a little kitten and so we had to put Cinderella to sleep. That was the downslope of the rollercoaster.... Today, we brought Mickey home. Mickey is a boy and is 3 months old...like Cinderella, Mickey seems to favor me over the girls. As you can see in the pictures, Mickey likes to lay on people, but he is only laying on Maggie because I am not sitting down...Matter of fact, he is sitting on my shoulder right now. I have to admit it is highly annoying, but I guess I can tolerate it since my 3 year old daughter's cat died yesterday. So if you know me, you will enjoy the picture of me and the cat who loves me sitting together in the recliner!
