It has been a while!

I have been yelled at again by several people because I haven't blogged...My last blog was about all the things going on with us...we are on the other side of most of that, so I am writing an update...

• Our teenage moms group went well, and they have another meeting this week.
• We have our Trunk or Treat this Wednesday. We went around the neighborhood and past out flyers for the event and we were able to meet some new people.
• I finished our Acts series this week. Actually, I did a vision talk that wrapped up the series. We spent 12 weeks talking about the mission God has called us to. It feels good to have my first series under my belt!
• Beth turned 30 on Wednesday and I had a birthday party for her on Friday. This is the first time I have been in town for her birthday since 2003...I spent the last 3 years at school in Minnesota. I was able to be home for on of the big ones!
• We have several things on the horizon. on the 11th, we are having our Annual business meeting. I hope to cast some vision for the coming year. We are revamping the budget and we are praying for God's blessing on our church through 2008
• Beth and I are getting our finger prints taken for the next step in our adoption process. We are in the process of adopting from children services here in California. We should be meeting with our case worker soon.
